This year’s theme is: CALLED AND EQUIPPED. We will have workshops in the morning with the departmental directors and the conference leaders, as well as guests from the Canadian Union and the General Conference, and a plenary session after lunch. The Convention is designed for church officers, but it’s open to all church members.

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.  Almost 500 persons registered for this event.

If you come to the 2019 Officer’s Convention without being registered, you may not find a physical place in the morning’s workshops, nor the availability of workshop materials and of the lunch meal.

LAST-MINUTE INSTRUCTIONS:

  • PARKING is FREE OF CHARGE for the whole day.  Please respect the indications for spaces reserved to persons with reduced mobility and other restrictions.
  • Our welcoming booths will be ready to serve you at 8 AM and will close at 9 h 30 AM. Our workshops will start à 9 AM sharp. Please come early. If you are absent or too late, your place and meal reservations will be cancelled.
  • The CÉGEP is equipped with water fountains so we recommend that you bring your own reusable water bottles. We will not be giving out water bottles.
  • Regarding CHILDREN, we strongly advise the parents to NOT bring their children with them at the Convention. If you can’t, please know that there will be no childcare services available and that you are responsible for your children at all time. Likewise, we can not assure them a dinner at lunch break. Instead, you can bring them a meal and use the microwaves ovens at your disposal on site.
