The Small Group Festival 2024, organized by Vision 300 of the Personal Ministries and Sabbath School of the Quebec Conference, brought together believers from across the province to celebrate the spiritual progress of small groups, whose mission is to share the Gospel, starting with friends and loved ones.
The festival featured inspiring testimonies, including one from the small group of the South Stukely church. This group witnessed the baptism and marriage of two new members, along with the return of former Adventists. One member whose zeal grew through the positive influence of the small group, demonstrated the love of Jesus by praying for a Muslim client whose wife was suffering from cancer.
Another powerful testimony comes from the Bois-Des-Filion small group, where a widow, after a terrible accident, found support and peace among the members. Her current husband, touched by her spiritual transformation, has joined her on this journey of faith.
A member of a small group recently formed in Longueuil shared that a colleague and invited friend had told her how much she appreciated the meetings. She explained that she really felt at ease in this intimate setting, where she could express herself freely and in complete confidence.
Finally, the chaplain of a women’s prison recounted the impact of Ellen White’s book “Steps to Christ”, which led to the formation of a small group among inmates.
The Small Group Festival was a wonderful reminder of the importance of these spaces of communion and growth in sustaining one’s faith.
