Growing Together in Christ and Moving Forward in Mission
A message of gratitude, vision, and commitment to the future of our Conference.
Following the 11th Constituency Session of the Quebec Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, held this past September, President Pastor Ngoy Kyala thanks members for their renewed trust in the administrative team.
The team welcomes this new term with gratitude and humility, along with a firm commitment to serve our churches and move forward together in the mission God has entrusted to us.
A Mission Rooted in a Living Relationship with Jesus
At the heart of this new chapter lies an essential conviction: mission begins with a personal, living relationship with Jesus Christ.
The Conference seeks to support each member’s spiritual growth, encouraging them to discover their gifts and use them to serve others.
This approach brings together two complementary dimensions: prayer and communication. Deepening our communion with God while strengthening our relationships with one another is the guiding thread of this vision.
Building a Strategic Plan Together
An initial draft of the strategic plan has already been developed with the Executive Committee. Now that the team is complete, the next step is to work with department directors to clarify a shared vision and priorities.
Prayer, collaboration, and careful attention to the needs of local churches will guide this process.
These priorities will then become measurable objectives, supported by concrete actions, designated leaders, resources, and timelines.
Once approved by the Executive Committee, the plan will be presented to pastors and churches at Church Officers’ Day and regional meetings. A brochure will also share its main priorities with all congregations. An annual review will help assess progress and guide any necessary adjustments.
A Call to Prayer and Unity
Pastor Kyala closes by inviting all members to pray for this process and for the administrative team. He also expresses his gratitude to church leaders, volunteers, and pastors whose dedication contributes daily to the vitality of our Church.
“May God grant us the wisdom and unity to grow together in Christ and let His light shine through our daily lives.”
An invitation to move forward together in faith and unity as we serve God’s mission.
