Kuei, dear brothers and sisters,

Here are some important updates and special invitations you won’t want to miss.

You are all warmly invited to attend the Kwe! event, taking place in Québec City from June 13 to 15, 2025. This is a unique and meaningful opportunity to meet and connect with the 11 Indigenous Nations of Québec. On the program: conferences, workshops, artistic performances, traditional food tastings… and above all, the vital encounter between our peoples, right here in the beautiful province we share.

Admission is free, and the event will be held at the Centre Vidéotron in Québec City. To learn more, visit the website Événement Kwe.

What God Is Doing Among the First Nations

God is powerfully at work in the Indigenous Ministry. Many projects have emerged — His blessings are abundant:

  • In partnership with ADRA Canada, a major project is underway to install clean drinking water in all 80 homes in the community of Kitcisakik (about 5 hours north of Montréal and 1.5 hours from Val-d’Or).
  • Another project is nearing completion: the translation and distribution (on USB drives) of 13 health education videos, specially created for Indigenous communities. These materials will be shared this summer during powwow tours (check out La route des pow-wow on Google — you’re warmly invited to attend!).
  • A new project has also begun: a community awareness day focused on violence prevention, with ongoing efforts planned throughout the year.

I’d like to offer a simple but important invitation:
Invite me to present my culture and these projects at your church.

It’s also a great opportunity for your Pathfinders — who are required to complete a certification on Indigenous Peoples. Let’s make it count on both fronts!

With gratitude,
