A generous amount of smiles, laughter, worship and the Word of God!
ACFI (Adventist Christian Fellowship) held at Halifax was a light of hope for all of us as university students. Indeed, university is a universe full of good moments, new encounters and new knowledge that satisfy our curiosity. But in this universe, we also feel loneliness, discouragement, and sometimes emptiness due to a lack of a sense of purpose. I still remember my prayer of discouragement asking God: “Lord, why did you send me there? Why so many disappointments? Why so much loneliness?” During my stay at Halifax, I quickly realized that this problem was indeed the same for all of us.
Our theme, “Here to serve, sent by love”, was not only said, but it was truly experienced. Through our moments of worship (which never ceased) that touched our hearts, but also the hearts of many residents we met in the charming city of Halifax. It was also experienced through the teachings of our speakers, who reminded us of the love of God for us and others. We learned to grow in our faith, to talk and teach this faith to others in a skeptical world, to develop our ministry and leadership, and the list goes on. The key point that we needed to remember is that we must dream BIG WITH GOD to have a spiritual revival in our university campus.
In short, ACFI 2026 has been an experience that will be forever in our minds and hearts. Many of us cried when we were leaving because we had become a family. After so many moments of laughter and fun, worship and sharing the word of God, we became a family full of love encompassing every province of Canada. Now, we are ready to show that divine love at our campuses.

ACFI 2026 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, has completely changed my life. I experience a glimpse of heaven that makes my heart even more eager to meet Jesus face to face. I witness the outpouring of the Holy Spirit through prayer, songs of praise, outreach, sermons, workshops and deep fellowship with people all across the Northern American Division. Our theme was “Here To Serve, Sent By Love”, and a fire has been ignited in my heart that by God’s grace He will help me to “go ye therefore” into all the world.
