On Saturday, April 26, 2025, the grand finale of the Pathfinder Bible Experience was held in Battle Creek, Michigan. This event marked the final round for the North American Division and represented the culmination of a rich and rewarding Bible journey, with hundreds of young people aged 10 to 18 participating.

Quebec was proudly represented by four teams, Lightning 1, Lightning 2, Lion de Juda 2, and Lion de Juda 3, who stood out brilliantly, earning first place. A performance we can all be proud of!

In total, 193 young people took part in this final. The books studied this year were Romans and 1 Corinthians.

Words from the Coaches
What makes me the most proud in this Bible Experience is seeing the spiritual growth of the children. We have a young army for Christ in the church. These young people know the Word of God and use it to witness wherever they go. To prepare for a final like this one, you need a solid foundation—young people who memorize verses by heart and have the will to go further, to push themselves. As a coach, it’s so rewarding to see young people spending time reading the Word of God. For me, when they open the Word, they are safe. When they open the Word, they are protected. They are blessed.

I really loved the dynamic within the team. Even though there was a noticeable age difference between some of them, they found a great way to work together. They managed to get along and accomplish wonderful things as a team. Preparing for a Bible Experience like this one takes motivation—and coaches who know how to channel the energy, emotions, and thoughts of the young Pathfinders. For yet another year, we’ve taken first place. As a coach, I’m truly proud of their work. I’m proud of each and every one of them. Everyone did their part and kept the faith that they would succeed.

My biggest challenge was memorization. And as advice for the upcoming teams for the 2026 edition, I would say to revise in advance. I want to thank Patricia, who encouraged me a lot throughout this experience. I also thank God for helping me. We succeeded and went to America! It was the first time I set foot in America.

While I was studying, all the passages really encouraged me. Even though I only had one chapter to study, I was able to learn and discover many other things about God. My biggest challenge was having confidence in myself. When I saw the videos from past editions, I didn't think we could make it to the final. I want to thank everyone who encouraged me and believed in me. I also thank God for everything He has done.

The passage that encouraged me the most while studying was Romans 8:30-38. These verses are a source of encouragement for every day. My biggest challenge was learning because it’s much more comfortable to stay in bed on Friday nights instead of going to practices. But participating in the Bible Experience was really worth it. I learned so much this year, and it will probably stay with me for the rest of my life. My advice to the teams participating in the next edition is to remember that it’s not a competition, but really an opportunity to learn, get to know others, and get to know yourself. And also, don’t stress—it's just a contest. Sometimes memorizing isn’t always the best way to learn. First of all, I want to thank my parents and the coaches, especially my mom who is one of the coaches. I really thank her because I know she stayed up very late preparing the simulations for us. I also want to thank Beniamin, the director of the club, who gave so much and drove the bus that took us to Battle Creek. I also thank the federation for their support. And finally, I thank God for giving us the opportunity to experience this and for allowing us to live in freedom.

That’s not all…

We would like to take a moment to salute all the Pathfinders clubs in Quebec that participated in the various levels of the Bible Experience, whether at the regional, Conference, or union level. Their commitment, constant effort, and dedication are truly reflective of the challenges they faced. A special mention goes to the following clubs: Aigle, Bright Stars, Flambeau, Gédéon, Genesis, Josué, Lahad, Le Rocher, Lumen, Maranatha, Northern Lights, Othoniel, and Phénix.

The Pathfinders from these clubs, along with their coaches and parents, demonstrated unwavering passion for Bible study. Thanks to their hard work and determination, we are confident that their spiritual journeys have been greatly enriched.

Looking Ahead to 2026!
