At the January 19, 2025 Officers’ Congress organized by the Quebec Conference, members of the Vision 300 ministry, an initiative of Personal Ministries and Sabbath School, led a workshop on evangelism within churches.

Pastor Sylvain Duval opened the discussion by emphasizing that evangelism begins with friendship. He stressed the importance of putting Jesus at the center of exchanges with non-believers, letting personal changes come with time. He encouraged inviting friends to engaging activities, such as a cooking class, to create opportunities for evangelism. He also reminded us that the absence of social ties is one of the frequent causes of disengagement in the church, hence the importance of fellowship.

Afterwards, pastor Alberto Sosa presented the TMI (Total Member Involvement) global initiative. This discipleship plan invites every member to become actively involved in the mission, following a process inspired by the words of Jesus, who compared discipleship to the agricultural cycle: prepare, plant, cultivate, harvest and preserve.

Finally, Karine Pierre Louis highlighted the essential role of a dynamic Sabbath school. She presented five ministries and missionary actions to be undertaken as part of the Sabbath school, in order to foster a climate of sharing and strengthen bonds between brothers and sisters in Christ.

With these principles, Vision 300 promotes a culture of commitment to advancing the work of Christ. To find out more about the various topics covered, visit vision300.org and click on the toolbox to access informative resources.
